Get Your Books Paid For, Sell Ads Inside Them

Written by Charles White | Jul 6, 2017 2:52:01 PM

If you're a member and using the My Books program, you can be getting these books for basically free.

Here's how to do this:

You need to have your books first. Then have some local business or vendors in mind.

Working with them will also help you become a local authority. It can be restaurants or anything local.

However, it does make the most sense to target industries close to home buying.

They're going to be the most likely to want to be in your books. Electricians, plumbers, builders, etc.

It's always a great idea to have working relationships with them anyways. You'll need them from time to time for your clients.

Just offer them a couple dollars per space and place their flyer or coupon inside of your book.

Don't try to get more than what you paid each book for. If you have space on your website, offer them some of that as well.

That's what one of our members Sharon did.

"Yeah, actually I have a pretty awesome, website that I connect with local businesses and vendors, so in exchange for him helping me promote my business I’m doing the same for him too," she said.

It's the same thing with offering space in your books.

This is a smart and easy way to expand your sphere of influence and make back your marketing costs.

Here is a list of people that would be interested in marketing to potential home sellers:

  • Lenders & Mortgage Brokers - Most home sellers are probably going to buy another home, and many of them will need a loan.
  • Title Companies or Title Attorneys - All homes that are sold are going to need title insurance.
  • Real Estate Attorneys - Some home sellers will seek the advice of an attorney to guide them thru the home selling process.
  • Moving Companies - Many home sellers hire professional moving companies to help them move.
  • Storage Companies - Many home sellers will put some of their belongings into storage when they move.
  • Staging Professionals - Many home sellers may consider hiring a professional stager to help make their home more attractive to potential buyers.
  • Estate Auctioneers - These people make a living auctioning and liquidating estates. They may be interested in marketing to owners of inherited properties.
  • Home Inspectors - Some home sellers want to have their home inspected before a buyer makes an offer, so they won’t have any surprises.
  • Painting Contractors - Many home sellers want to spruce up their home and paint is a very inexpensive way to do that.
  • Handyman - Many home sellers want to spruce up their home and will hire a handyman to help out with that.

Contact those advertisers and set-up an appointment to discuss advertising with you.

Call all of the potential advertisers. Tell them that you would like to meet with them to discuss an opportunity to grow their business.

You will show them how they can get business from customers that their competition doesn’t even know about.
